This class is for anyone interested in obtaining the CGC title or for anyone looking for the next step in training beyond Basic Training and Juvenile Delinquents or Intermediate Training. The focus of this class is to help our dogs to become polite members of our society. The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test was created by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and is a 10 point test to show that your dog will behave in public and respond to you for things such as, sit, down, come, stay and walking nicely on a loose leash. Canine Good Citizen Test Preparation Class and CGC Test:

To register for this class, please do the following:

  1. Check the Group Class Schedule to find the class you want and if there is space available.
  2. PAYMENT IN FULL WILL RESERVE YOUR SPACE IN CLASS. Payment options are below.
  3. Complete the Group Class Registration Form here. PLEASE COMPLETE BEFORE CLASS STARTS.
  4. Please Read This Before You Come To Class.

Payment Options:

  • Payment is accepted in the form of check, money order, or credit card.
  • If you are paying by check or money order, please make payable to Love My Dog Training and send to our mailing address.

Dogs must have completed Basic Training and Juvenile Delinquents or Intermediate Training.

  • Individualized attention from highly-experienced trainer Sue Brown, practicing since 1996, Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and author of 2 books on dog training.
  • Classes meet one hour per week for seven weeks. The test is held on week eight.
