    Rates

    All rates for private and group class training are listed at https://thelightofdog.com/shop/product-catalog-1/. Any training outside the normal service range will be considered on a case-by-case basis and additional travel fees will apply.

    Payment

    Payment methods accepted are cash, check, money order or major credit card. If a check is returned for non sufficient funds, you will have 7 days to submit alternative payment and will be charged any additional bank fees incurred by The Light of Dog.

    For all training options, payment is due in full on or before the first session.

    Cancellations and Refunds

    If you need to cancel a private session, you must give a minimum of 48 hours notice. Sessions canceled less than 48 hours before the appointment will be charged at the regular rate. If there is a true emergency that requires cancellation less than 48 hours prior to a session, you will be allowed to reschedule your session for another time acceptable to both parties. However, if the trainer has already left for the appointment and cannot be reached, you will be charged for the session. If it is necessary to reschedule a session, you will have 30 days to make up the missed session. Funds will be forfeited for any sessions not made up within 30 days of the originally scheduled session. If the trainer needs to cancel a session already scheduled, he/she will notify you as soon as possible. Sessions will be rescheduled within 30 days. Packages must be completed within one year from the date of the signed agreement. Any sessions unused during that time will be forfeited. There are no refunds.

    For group classes, no refunds will be given if cancellation is received within less than 72 hours of the start of class. There are no partial refunds for partially completed classes.

    For Private Dog Park Property Rental cancelations, you must give a minimum of 24 hours notice. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours before the session will be charged at the regular rate. If there is a true emergency that requires cancellation less than 24 hours prior to a session, you will be allowed to reschedule your session for another time acceptable to both parties.

    Liability Waiver

    Love My Dog Training and The Light of Dog, LLC (herein referred to as "The Service Provider"),its family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on its behalf (herein referred to as “Its Agents”), makes no guarantees of performance on the part of Client or pet as a result of providing animal behavior consultation and/or training. Client agrees that The Service Provider and Its Agents will not be held liable for any damage or loss resulting from failure of the dog to respond to any signals, commands, or cues taught to the dog by The Service Provider or Its Agents or resulting from counseling and advice supplied to owner of dog.

    Client acknowledges that obedience training and behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. Client will assume full financial and moral responsibility for the actions of his/her dog(s). Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic.

    Client agrees that he/she, his/her heirs, assignees and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attach the property of The Service Provider or Its Agents for injury or damage done to or by dog(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by The Service Provider or Its Agents. Client forever releases The Service Provider and Its Agents from any and all liability and demands which Client, his/her heirs, assignees and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s), and assume all risks thereof.
