Juvenile Delinquents: Mind Your Manners is a class for adolescent dogs between 5 months and 2 years of age (or those who just act like adolescents). This class is designed as the next step after Puppy Preschool or Basic Training. The adolescent stage can be a difficult one which is why most dogs you see in shelters are adolescent dogs. This class is specifically to help you get through the initial stages with your “teenager”!

Milo’s Mama –
We love Sue’s JD classes. She’s given us the tools to become a well-mannered team despite what else is going on around us. Sue tailors the JD classes to suit the class participant’s needs and makes the classes fun for the dogs and humans alike. I would highly recommend this class for those looking to continue basic obedience skills, wanting refinement on anything from recall to leash manners, or just wanting practice with distractions. This, and all of Sue’s classes are great!!! Thanks Sue!

This class was a continuation of and refining of many of the skills in Basic Training. The Juvenile Delinquents title was perfect for my 7-month-old Goldendoodle, though dogs of any age would benefit from this class. We worked on leash manners, wait, stay, impulse control, activities to stimulate dogs’ minds and noses and many other things.
Bogey loves class and is always excited when I tell him we’re going to see Sue! No matter how ornery he is at home, he seems to understand that class time is time to pay attention and be rewarded for the things he does. One of the things I appreciate most is being able to ask Sue for advice on behaviors for my own dog, since the classes are small.
Leash manners was something I was most interested in refining. All of my prior dogs were terrible at pulling on the leash and I was determined that Bogey would be more pleasant to walk with. Sue gave us many exercises and tips at how to model this behavior and Bogey and I now enjoy our daily morning walk.
This was a very good class, enjoyed by myself as well as my dog.
