    This class is for dogs who are reactive toward other dogs while on leash. Reactivity could include such behaviors as barking, whining, growling, pulling toward, lunging at, hiding from or trying to run from other dogs. Some of these dogs are fine off leash with other dogs. Some are not. Some dogs are simply excited and want to play. Some dogs would fight with other dogs given the chance. Others are insecure and afraid of other dogs. Regardless of the underlying cause of the displayed behaviors, our goal is to help our dogs feel better about the situation and learn how to make better choices in the presence of other dogs. Dogs must have completed a minimum of a Behavior Consultation with the Trainer and received permission from the Trainer in order to participate in this class.

Some of us want to be able to hike or walk off leash with our dogs. Some people never plan to have their dogs off leash. In either case, it makes sense to take some steps to prepare for circumstances where your dog might end up off leash, even if you didn’t intend it. Ever have a leash or clip break? Some of us do plan to have our dogs off leash in certain situations, and we must take proper steps to keep our dogs and others safe. Dogs love to have the freedom to run and stretch their legs and explore in a way that they simply cannot do when on a leash. Even if that off leash circumstance is only in a fenced dog park, off leash reliability is still something you should be working toward. Although the area might be fenced in, off leash control is still something you might need. There are some steps that should be taken to ensure your dog can be safe and reliable when off leash, which is what we teach in this resource guide.     The bison and liver are raw.  You can cook this mixture if you wish before stuffing into interactive toys.  We do not cook our mixture as we want to give our dogs as much raw food as possible for maximum nutrition.  We do not worry about raw meat juices coming out of the frozen interactive toys because our dogs love this treat so much that they will lick out all the ingredients and meat juices before they thaw.
